Didn't get to try the food, but the owner/manager was amazing. We got stranded in Custer due to the main highway being completely flooded and road side assistance was taking it's sweet time getting to us. We were in desperate need of gas in order to continue on. Even though the restaurant was without power he provided us with water (was going to buy that with the gas we couldn't get) and even offered for us to follow him to where he lived so we could get gas. Don't care what the food is like or the service, this place gets 5 stars.

It's pricier than I would like but the food was delicious! The gentleman who owns it was a friendly attentive server. All of us loved our food between the Buffalo Sliders and the Walleye Sticks... will definitely go back!

Got the Prime Rib to go, flavorful and tender. I have had prime rib in many states and even outside the U.S. and this was in the top 2, highly recommend it.

Very good food. Great service. She smiled the whole time. Music was nice too.the food didn’t take to long to be served. I had a great time.

The birthday girl approves! My birthday dinner was hosted here tonight and I've heard no complaints, the portions were pretty generous and we're home now and stuffed. I really enjoyed the prime rib and the brownie for dessert really hit the spot. Thanks for the birthday candle!

Decor is 1965 Our waitress was dumber than a box of rocks. The food was Dennys 1965 too. Food was OK fine.

Here you get great food and more than you can eat. Also great company while wating, a very fun atmosphere.

All around good food and service. Prime rib was very tasty but gravy is on salty side but still very good. Fish and chips was walleye and tasted fresh and amazing. French dip was good as stated from the boy. Service was excellent and would recommend if you want a nice sit down meal.

Um, we we rent quite sure what to expect. It was our first night in Custer and we sure were surprised. The prices were VERU high for what we got. Good wasn't anything special but not bad. Our waitress was polite but clearly very tired. It wasn't the best experience. There was a gift shop inside too. I went to look for a long sleeve shirt since it was strangely cold and rainy. Felt like I was stared at, like theybthoughtbi was going to steal something. I'm assuming that's an issue they have?!

It was the only place open on a Sunday night in April and it did not disappoint. My girls liked their grilled cheese and fries and my husband enjoyed his fresh cod fish. We enjoyed our friendly and helpful service and great dinner!

Great food and even better service. Seemed to be a slow night and we were eating late. Owner was working due to being short handed. Food was slightly higher priced than we normally go for but we are on vacation and enjoying beautiful country so you pay a little more than you do back home in the sticks. The owner was a great waiter and made us feel at home and we can't wait to start making the Black Hills a familiar stop. It is just awesome up here.

Prime Rib special was sub-par. Not good quality, very thin. Server was nice,very attentive.

To be honest, I was not at all impressed with the food. The service was good, but the food was terrible. This restaurant set their prices awful high, and I understand getting seafood in the Midwest is expensive, but the prime rib just tastes like Arby's. The stuffed mushrooms weren't bad, but the pepper jack mac and cheese was awful. Honestly, just head on over to Hot Springs and try Woolly's. You'll be glad you did.

Calling all captains! The ribeye steak was awesome! Excellent walleye strips! We also ordered a full rack of bbq ribs that were absolutely delicious. Hats off to the chef of this establishment. The bar offers specialized rum and tequila drinks. By far the best margaritas we have ever had. No wonder the recipe is kept secret. Private atmosphere without excess noise. The even dimmed the lights for us. We will be returning frequently!

Great service. Had the french dip was the best I've had in years meat was nice and moist not like most places I've been to around here, buffalo sliders are a great starter cooked perfect I don't even like onions but the cook made em perfect and it added a nice flavor. My pops had the cod special and he couldn't complain wich is rare because he normally does, drinks were good would and will recommend to anyone. Thanks for the meal it was fantastic!
